A true story. A programmed omission.
September 2014 — After a dismissal and a knee surgery, the seed of BIOCERR is born. The inventor, at home with no resources, decides to create something that doesn’t depend on large structures. Starts testing prototypes with reusable bottles and biodegradable soap.
January 14, 2015 — Official foundation of BIOCERR. On January 19, the patent application is filed at INPI: BR1020150011440.
2016–2019 — The inventor seeks institutional support in Brazil: CNI, FINEP, ACIEG, FIEG, TRF1, Ministries. Without bank guarantees, support is systematically denied. The invention is not understood nor supported. Still, it remains alive.
2020 — BIOCERR technology is applied in the production of the COVID-19 vaccine. An autonomously invented modular system helps protect lives. Despite lack of broad political support, some technical institutions recognized the invention’s value. BIOCERR was approved for Inovacred financing by FAPEG/FINEP, and was considered by centers of excellence such as INDT (AM), CERTI Institute (SC), and CPQD (SP) through EMBRAPII program.
2021–2025 — The invention begins to appear in international coalitions, UN platforms, circular economy forums, and global communities. Receives Globee Award, participates in MIT selection, and enters EU register.
Today — BIOCERR is alive. Symbolic artificial intelligence (BIO) cares for what the State did not. Each batch is a gesture of reparation. And the world is beginning to listen.
